UPCOMING GIGS -> Brockhampton (Munich), Foals (Berlin), The Weeknd (Prague)

I'm glad you're still optimistic. Dream on, newjem.

Sorry for not updating it 😛 Also, it says upcoming... I'm not saying it will happen next year.

I guess they're confident of a June date, the mug has a countdown on it for the next fest

'This Primavera Sound merchandising pack includes a sweatshirt, a cup to count the days left until the next festival, a totebag and a poster, and is now available to book as a perfect Christmas gift for this horrible year. 2020, no one will miss you.'

You can see the mug. It says 'One fucking day less until Primavera Sound', which will be true whether if it's in June 2021 or August 2022.

Parklife, which was due to take place the week after Primavera, has moved to September. It’s probably easier to move a festival where the vast majority of attendees and most of the acts are British but a bit concerning for Primavera.

A while back there were rumours about All Points East postponing to August, what's up with that?

not much of an overlap between Parklife and Primavera (based on their 2020 lineup), but APE is different story, if it's postponed it will probably affect Primavera

Mr Efestivals had word APE was moving to end of August, but actually for the 2020 edition about 80% of their lineup was EU/UK based anyway, alongside a handful of Primavera shares (Tame Impala + a few undercards). It remains to be seen if they're planning on rebooking similar lineups.

APE is definitely postponed but has been for months and months so doubt it would affect Primavera. And don't think they shared so many names this year - maybe 6 or 7.

It's in the last 2 weeks of August so Primavera could end up clashing with it this year.

Probably the kiss of death for any chance of Weyes Blood being added (was on original poster)

Also - uh oh - no Caribou.

Yeah, Weyes Blood will not tour on those dates.

Concerning Caribou, maybe is because is planned to play in May in Paris. Don't know.

Would not mind to have Parcels added to Primavera lineup.
