Where did you hear that? Couldn't see anything on twitter.

Definitely a name Primavera would love to book ahead of others.

the Tourmanager of wargirl (dr. Kiko) told me this at the merch table. He is a friend of him.

Jarvis was great in 2019, no doubt. But still I'd take Pulp over him anytime

it’s so weird - I can’t think of any other band who’s frontman I’d rather see than them actually reforming properly.

probably just seen them too many times. there don’t feel to be any surprises there for me. Mind you, as the jarv.is album will be out by then that could well be true of him too

and it’s not like I’m not excited about pavement, who obviously won’t be bringing all their new bangers.

Eh, Jarv Is has been touring since early 2018, right?

Besides, I hear a lot of people that saw Pulp during their reunion that aren't too bothered about seeing them again. "They had a perfect finale and it would take away from it if they reunited again!". Except it wouldn't. Plenty of people have never had the chance to see Pulp that would love to, and that "amazing time you saw Pulp" live won't be any less amazing just because they played more shows

Saying this with love, they're one of my favourite bands and I've love to watch them, but nipping any discussion of Pulp in the bud while we're at five pages would be great so it doesn't actually take hold as a viable rumour in here or elsewhere. There's zero evidence anywhere to suggest they're coming back next year and no anniversaries coming up.

Well, this year is the 25th anniversary of Different Class. Next year is the 10th anniversary of their first reunion.

However, Jarv Is still has shows booked so I'd imagine they want to get those out of the way before announcing anything Pulp-related.

He has yes - and enjoyed it both times I saw it but primarily because the songs only existed in live forms and were a little unexpected. Thought his stagecraft was really spot on too.

I mean, in an ideal world I’d prefer other bands on the bill but of those two I’d plump for jarv.

on a separate note, I hope muzz play.

Think we all need to let go of our hopes of Pulp being there 😅 Other than the anniversary thing it's all just baseless speculation, especially with Jarvis finally rocking up his new project as I doubt he'd decide to roll that out only for it to be steamrolled and forgotten about due to a Pulp reunion not long after. We can all dream though...

Shellac are playing Berlin on 31.5.2021, if you had any doubts about them playing next year.

Hotel emailed me this afternoon politely asking if I'd mind to have the dates of my stay changed to the 2021 dates. No extra costs. Great service!

Great! Which hotel?

Were you one of the people who booked this before the rescheduled date in August was announced for the lower price or are you just rubbing it in that you've got the money to splash on such a fancy hotel? 😄

Booked it early january. Yes, it's not cheap, but good value for money. Didn't intend rubbing it in haha
