Happy Beltane

I thought I'd post a couple of photos from my morning walk today, seeing as it is Beltane - the beginning of summer.  (Beltane - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beltane)

View of the Tor from Millennium Field first thing (0630 - after sunrise though - that was too early for me!)

Not too crowded - a few people about but all keeping social distance.  A few campervans about but no where near as many as usual for this type of event.

I thought this one was promising - as I was walking back down, the clouds parted slightly to let a ray of sunlight shine on the festival site (that light beam is literally pointing to the site!).  A good sign, I'd like to think, on Beltane.

Wonderful images, I am longing to get back to climbing the Tor. We can spend hours just sitting up there, it’s really such a unique place. Sadly we’ve had to cancel our pre festival weeks stay in Glastonbury but as soon as this nightmare is over we will be there!
