Who headlined Saturday? Pretty sure it wasn't raining then but fuck knows what I was doing. The Friday was bad. And actually yeah you're right it did rain Wednesday because we managed to set our tents up moments before.

It was Coldplay with Elbow on before. Even though it had pissed down on Friday, the sun did its work on Saturday and the mud was largely dry by the time Guy Garvey took to the stage,  and the ground was ok to sit on.  One of my favourite years, despite Friday's washout.

Ah yeah! I was watching Chemical Brothers.

Watched the 8 hour Youtube video yesterday and just skipped the bits between songs. Thought it was great.

Caught the start of the BBC version and the whole set up looked much worse.

Highlights for me were Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift and Hozier (plus Maren Morris for one of his songs).

Thought Elton was very poor.

It stopped raining about an hour or two after U2 came off stage - the rest of the weekend was glorious, to the extent that the site had pretty much dried out by Sunday morning.

I feel like the Saturday morning was dry but a bit cloudy and the really glorious weather coincided with Pulp coming out on the Park (and Elbow on the Pyramid). Though that could just be the moment I successfully achieved drinking through my hangover.

Yep, that's spot on - my first Glastonbury, so remember it well.  I think that sunny evening at the Park for Pulp was the moment where I knew I was signed up to the festival for life!

Thursday was nice when I arrived in the afternoon, though the site was a mud bath.  But Friday was miserable all day, and poured down during Radiohead/U2.  By Sunday morning it was roasting and a completely different place.
