unodosseb
New Biffy Clyro album is pretty great, reckon there’s any chance of them playing one of the days? I know they’re not huge outside of the UK but maybe one of the afternoon slots?
CharlieDaRapper
First time. Thinking of going as my fest abroad next year either this or Mad Cool. I was wondering what acts are you hoping to see on the undercard?

Apparently they aren't really popular in Belgium as they are in the UK and @ken responded that they aren't really on the organisers list of acts to book. I saw them the last time at Werchter in 2014, and they were only mid afternoon on the main stage? Are they wanting more than that?

Ha, no... 2013 there were also some ego issues. That doesn’t help. But depeche mode made it funny. 1

Nope, DM played after 30 seconds.. and before Editors who were the last act that day. DM seemed in good spirits though...

Ken19
1 hour ago, Judithmt said: Was that the backstage restricted area sign thing? Yeah, every artist that day had no problem to wear a bracelet. Even Icons like Depeche Mode. But the manager from 30 seconds to Mars refused this. Something that does not happen that often. Jared Leto doesn’t wear something like that he said (to be honest, big chance Jared had no problem with that, but it is most of the time that the entourage is difficult, not the artist). And they put a sign on every door with the pictures of the three band members on it. With the message: they can go anywhere they want and the people that are with them too. Andy Fletcher and the other keyboardguy started to remove all the signs backstage. And one time the brother of Jared Leto was stopped at the door by security. Entourage of the band mad, the guys from Depeche Mode laughing. And making fun of them. Depeche Mode was in a tremendous form that day. Great show. Andy throwing away his shirt in the crowd at the end of the show. Normally all artists are very down to earth. And how bigger the band, how more relaxed they are. 2

Nice to hear that anecdote🙂 Also, Depeche Mode did a very nice gig that day. Hope they'll be back at some point.

Ferda
New Killer's album is great, would be nice to have them at Werchter 2021. I've seen some rumours here on the forum in the past that they are a possibility, any news on this ?

Good to know that I don't want to see 30 Seconds live ever DM are lengends and yeah they are playing festivals even though they are so big so no problem for them and Ken is it possible for press to get this backstage bracelet? about The Killers they are performing on Inmusic around 21st of June and on Mad Cool, so would say they are pretty likely

lighthouse
Well we already have two big headliners from 2018 with Pearl Jam and Gorillaz. Having a 3rd one would be a bit much isn't it?
