Without wishing to disparage your info, hasn’t there been talk of AM shows in Sheffield for a few summers now?

They applied once before to play Hillsborough Park, it was the first year Tramlines relocated to the park. Tramlines had an offer on the table for AM to headline that year, it gave them the idea to play the park themselves.

That licence application got withdrawn as they did an arena tour later in the year instead and the logistics wouldn't of worked out. The council and locals weren't too keen either with Tramlines only just relocating there. They ended up playing Sheff arena for a number of nights.

SJM have a licence application for 3 days of live music and alcohol sales between 4th and 6th June 2021 during the hours 16:00 and 23:00. So unless Pulp are getting back together (which isnt happening) its more than likely AM. Its a lot of tickets to shift

AM have always wanted to play Hillsborough Stadium but they don't put on events. The park is literally across the road.

erm .... that's all been announced since around April/May when they cancelled this year's event.

There’s been a fresh push by the organisers on social media so they are obviously more confident that it will be going ahead as planned.

yeah, they've refreshed all of the Let's Rock websites in the last few days. I guess it's just their marketing plans kicking in.

Almost all festivals have shut down their marketing efforts since festivals went south. At some point the marketing for next year will start up for them, because lots of them still have lots of tickets to sell even with tickets for this year having been rolled over by most of them. Ticket sales pretty much stopped in mid-March when festivals started to look unlikely.

I’m crossing my fingers for Doja cat considering she’s taken a pretty low slot there.

At least it’s somewhat proves she isn’t a total diva and considers herself a headliner because she’s had one hit album.

Wait for the U.S festival billings, those will tell another story.
