Hopefully the headliners are rolled over, it's not hyperbole to say it's the best trio the place would ever have seen. Absolute power.

Also might mean that any inevitable arctic monkeys return is pushed back to 2023, 10 years later is a good amount for me. I love em and 2013 is the only year I've missed since 09 so I want them back and can't be arsed with any eye rolling about them being regulars ahah.

It's not the best trio the place would ever have seen, that's just silly.

Sigur ros seem to have self confirmed for October Coachella. Do you think they could come back to Glasto in 2021?

Headlined JP last time. Do you think they’d be a park headliner now?

Nah don’t see them coming back so soon. Wouldn’t count them totally out but they’re a tough one to place, although with the Park headliners getting progressively bigger, aye that might be a good shout. I also don’t think they’ll have new material out by then (at least they’ve not announced anything, but got over a year to change that I guess).

I didn't expect this - would be amazing!

I mean the last time they played was 2016. Doesn’t feel that long ago but that’s 5 years gap in 2021. They could easily announce and release an album before / around June 2021. I think they shouldn’t be discounted as an act potentially in the frame.

But what I can see in that post it refers to Jónsi individual project, not Sigur Ross as a band.

Yep you’re right - hasn’t looked at the post before, but I’m pretty sure it refers to Jonsi solo as he’s currently gearing up some new material I believe.

Do Sigur Ros still exist?

Fuck knows - the only recent-ish news that’s come from them as a group is one of them being accused of sexual assault and leaving the band and then the band being accused of tax evasion. I’m guessing they’ll just pop back up whenever they feel like, if at all.
