Survey: https://www.allpointseastfestival.com/forms/allpointseast-2020-survey/

Mostly pandemic related but you get to choose some acts you’d like to see next year and potentially win tickets to 2021.

I don’t understand how you can win the tickets given they don’t take your email address?

seems like a con.

Obviously not the best statistic but that Tame day has to be coming back with sales that are that high (i assume it sold pretty well anyway) - maybe bombay will be reconsidered or advertising stepped up as that looks like a complete fail to me. APE is the first festival back though so that could help them shift tickets I reckon.

Those aren’t sales, it’s people clicking ‘going’ on a Facebook event.

They would definitely get Tame Impala back if it didn’t conflict with the band’s other plans but that’s where there is doubt.

Oh. I got that in an email and the link had a UTM tag, which I deleted before posting. It didn’t occur to me that a unique identifier would be necessary. Really would’ve made sense to just have an email box.

Oh yeah of course I know that but having 10x as many people interested as 2 of the other days ( like 18x more than bombay) is pretty significant. I put glass animals, vampire weekend, interpol and the strokes - lots of repeats but they are who i want anyway :)

Right but keep in mind that Tame Impala was announced in November and Bombay Bicycle Club three weeks before cancellation. I doubt Bombay Bicycle Club even sold that amount. It’s no real surprise that they amount of likes goes in order of announcement.

But anyway, it doesn’t matter now. That festival is done with.

I’ve asked around on LinkedIn and it was Blur

Seriously? Seems a bit small for the only Blur show of the year just one night at Victoria Park? Would have been great though

Did the survey and realised at the end they hadn't asked for a name, email address or anything to contact me with. No idea how they're gonna contact me to give me my free tickets now.

I thought this... ruse.

They probably have some kind of profile on you already which is why they didn’t bother asking for an email.

I went for a bunch of small bands I like and probably won’t be booked anyway.

Yeah that’s what I meant. Like if I wanted to unsubscribe, I could click a link and it would already know what email address.

It’s a good survey though. Asking important questions about post-pandemic purchasing.

You'll probably be able to get free tickets anyway, no? This is All Points East we're talking about.
