If Paul McCartney isn't Wings then Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott are certainly not The Housemartins. /pedant Edit: I now see you acknowledged this earlier. There are very few UK number ones as it turns out, 20 -30 per year. The chances of seeing/hearing 5 in one weekend are slim as it goes, if you know maths, and think about it. 2014 was loverly. Which year did we see the balloon trapise artists floating around the site in the still air, early hours?

grumpyhack
I'm confused, but that's what lockdown does. Has anyone got it right? What's the current question?

stuartbert two hats
Still grumpyhack's impossible multipart question about the classical stage I think.
grumpyhack
Oops - Sorry if that's the case. Here are the answers and then whoever fancies it can set us something else to muse on. The Classical Stage was in 1986 and was programmed by John Williams, classical guitarist and performer with Sky. Those appearing, as well as Williams, included Gerald Garcia (guitar and not to be confused with Jerry Garcia), Alan Schiller, Mick Taylor (sitar), Francis Monkman (synthesiser, founding member of Curved Air who also played in Sky). This is a bit of Curved Air live with a song written by Monkman and singer Sonjia Kristina Ian the Worm got John Williams so maybe he deserves to puzzle us next.
