When it  happened I (as with most others I suspect) expected it to be temporary.

In the Spinal Tapfilm the band insisted that their amps went up to 11. 

When they played The Pyramid some genius at the BBC changed the volume control on iPlayer so that it would also go up to 11.It has remained that way ever since. Great question for anyone that compiles Pub Quizzes although a bit obscure.

The first time I came to Glastonbury was in 1982 , and it was awful .A group of us decided to go to a load of festivals that summer ,  so we rented a van and travelled around sleeping in the van .But because it said Sheffield auto hire on the van it was obvious we weren't full time travellers , so we didnt really fit in . We went to one festival in Wales , and we came back to the van and found some kids siphoning petrol out of the tank ....... Whos words were these ? Think this might be a quick one ....

Possibly, but there is one act in the film that he included as he knew it would wind Michael up and generate an audience reaction.
