Not necessarily good news but felt I just needed to share with you all that across our project teams at work we now have....

Rick Buckler, Angus Young, Steve Morris, Greg Lake and Gary Moore 😂

Anyone else got a supergroup in their workforce?

Not a supergroup, but i had an occasion to field a call intended for my boss from a certain 'Tom Jones'. So, I took the call and wrote down what the blokes message was. Then, some hours later, my boss re-entered the office. I told him that he had had a call from a Tom Jones. His response was something along the lines of 'Oh yeah, what did he say'?

It was right at that moment that I knew I had an opportunity to crack a joke / publicly humiliate myself in the office. I wasn't quite sure that I could pull it off, plus it had only just occurred to me that I had that 'joke' opportunity. I should have said 'He said that It's not unusual to be loved by anyone, It's not unusual to have fun with anyone.....',

However, what I actually said was 'He said he'd call you back'.

How very disappointing.

PS - as an aside I was once asked how it was going with bringing in a lock specialist to make a presentation in front of the 50+ people that were present. Before I could answer one of the assembled shouted out ' He's just waiting for his release date from 'the Green'. Everybody laughed (including me) except the big boss. For he had had a very successful humour by pass operation just after birth, I'd say. I later found out that he had actually bugged my physical area of work to try to catch me saying something incriminating against myself and others. The man was a paranoid sociopath. Oh, and a complete c**t with it.

certainly on this occasion im not entirely sure ....

Hello crazyfool1,

The thing is;

(1) That could be read as - Certainly. On this occasion I'm not so sure.

or

(2) Certainly on this occasion I'm not so sure.

Obviously if it were No 2 then I would have to suggest that you yourself might need to make the statement 'I do wonder if I make any sense at all, at times'.

No, no, the smart money is definitely on No. 1

Go on - put me out of my misery, which one is it?

7 hours after they went I sale I just managed to buy 4 Joe Lycett tickets 😁😄

Partner lucked out on the Hippodrome ones this morn, held in a godawful See tickets queue from hell then all sold out☹ thought we'd missed our chance!  I had a gentle potter onto the Utilita Arena website, picked up 4 tickets easy peasy - one very excited younger brother, they finally get to celebrate their 40th birthday, only 2 years late 😅 it was last year mid lockdown!

Death in paradise tonight...

Better than this football lark lol

Watching the football, but let me guess, somebody dies, there are four suspects, and it all gets resolved by evidence that would embarrass even Columbo.

Sorry should have had a spoiler alert in there.

It's great having a wagon.. I just wish people were less disagreeable about wild camping... Down here in the new forest the have all gone mad over the lockdown... We used to be able to go out and just for a night park up relax and then leave.... As long as you don't take the piss and stay for days etc I reckon it should be OK but now if your not in a campsite some of which cost up and above 55 a night they give you a load of grief....

There's alot of flytipping but imo if you don't had someone parked up for the night this wouldn't happen..

We're on the wild camping sites and do wild camp but it's not like it used to be.. Unfortunately

Sounds idyllic.  We’ve been toying with the idea of a small camper van now I’m retired.

I'm terrible aren't I, i just dump a post on and never come back for a chat 😅

Yes! Highly recommend a campervan, classics are gorgeous but an absolute pain, used to have a T2 now have a T5, much easier to up & off with a modern engine set up!

Read that wrong.. Was about to be say not to get a VW.. But......

As DirtyLurker says these new wagons are great.. Mines 40 years old and takes some looking after and you worry about the engine all the time..... She's only let me down a couple of times.... But Yea new vans are great.. But think VERY VERY hard what you want..

If you want to have a ready made bed,,, or more space and putting your bed down every night.. Etc etc.. Mind you saying that you can fit an awning on now and boom you've loads of space...

I'm looking at mine and think... Fuck it let's just go... Alas I've things to do lol

I got England v Germany tickets for Euro 2020 yesterday. 😄

I don't follow football. I know that there's football going on at the moment though. However, I also know, or think I know, that it's 2021 now. So, that leads me to wonder if I'm losing the plot or if you are a Time Lord. Come on, come on, which one is it? My sanity depends on a quick response!

Not really though. Take as long as you like, or don't even bother. 🙂
