I've got a job booked for next week - this is ridiculously good news as I haven't had any work (or any pay) since Feb 2020 😁

And I'm going out out tonight, with friends 😮 an actual social event wìth physical people!

I've been wanting to go to university for some time now, but I've always struggled. I left school in 2009 with only a few GCSEs, no A Levels. I tried doing an access course a few year ago but had to quit because money problems.  But thankfully after all this time, I've finally gotten into university! I would like to give a special random thanks to @WestCountryGirl; it sounds silly but when we had that talk about the Iliad and ancient greek stuff last year, it helped get me to finally read it, which then helped me get back into the mood for learning. Before then i had pretty much given up, had myself convinced that I was too stupid for university and that it would just be a waste of time. 



Also some of you may have seen me mention  in another thread that I met a nice Irish girl at that rave. We went out again together last night and tomorrow i'm going to her place 🙈👀

As an aside, I was once banned from a casino (it was the talk of poker that did it) for demanding that cocaine be brought to me at the blackjack table. It's a good job that on the whole I don't suffer from shame.
