I passed 3rd time ..... second time I left the test centre and drove down the wrong side of the road ... so cant advise much with my track record .... bloody nerves !! Or was that called something else ? The original meccano was all metal, nuts bolts and washers. No motors but lots of pulleys and gear wheels. Maybe they went soft in later years and made it in plastic, don’t know. TBH it was a bit boring and I was glad when Subbuteo came on the market! I'm a 3rd timer too. First was an unmitigated disaster. Second I was weirdly calm because I knew it could never be so bad again, but was caught out by a temporary speed limit. Rotating one seemed to work so you'll have to turn your head to see Bruce properly.
