Gnomicide
I contacted Betway last night to see what they were doing about bets placed for Glastonbury headliners. Tight bastards that they are, they're voided my bet on Macca and refunded the stake. Apparently SkyBet had already paid out. If you placed a bet it might be worth checking your account. In theory, if they're voiding potentially winning bets they should do the same with all bets, whether they were announced as headliners or not. So chase 'em up if you spaffed £50 on The Spice Girls headlining.

From a business point of view I can understand it but c'mon lads, for fuck sake, get yourself a bit of positive PR and make some folk's day happier and pay out on it. squirrelarmy
I whacked a tenner on coldplay as I always lose any bets I place.

The rules about these bets usually state first headliner announced, so they should have paid out (if that was the case, they've probably deleted T&Cs now). I remember Sky a few years ago only paying out after they'd actually performed. I guess to avoid this kind of thing (or them cancelling, getting ill etc.)

morph100
So I got my payout from Sky for Taylor Swifty, but when can we start betting again? Think they will run it or not?
squirrelarmy
I can’t even remember who I placed my bet with. That £10 would get me a few pints down the pub.

Exactly, it can't be like there's a fuckload gets laid on it. Bet there's more laid out on games in League 2 on any given Saturday then gets laid on Glastonbury headliners.
