Scotland performing worse than a Chinese vaccine

As a scot were happy with being here and taking a point. Can't say the same for Engerland. Scrape through the group and out in the quarters no doubt despite thinking you're going to win it again. Lol

So...the UK now has more cases than all of the EU Countries *combined*.

And the EU vax pace is faster than the UK.

Everything in the EU is reopening at pace, e.g. nightclubs are open in Spain now and international travel is easy.

Shame on those dickheads on here with the endless 'we're smashing the EU, you love to see it' patter a couple of months back.

We still have more than the EU in single and double doses. But it isn't a competition anyway....

Given who’s coming in round 2 that’s incredibly optimistic.

England performance like AZ, it works, but you'd rather one of the other ones.

Out of upvotes but top work.

Smashing the EU at the football though, you love to see it.

Bless...  participation medal for you

Yeah, poor us finishing top 😀

Only got to beat Germany, Portugal or France now 🤣

Might just do it with your anti football tactics. Reminds me of Greece winning in 2004 😉😂

While I agree that some of the nationalist bollocks hasn't been helpful - the UK does not (yet) have more cases than all EU Countries combined, unless you selectively compare incomplete data - specifically with Spain (one of the current highest rates in Europe) not reporting data over the weekend so showing as 0 cases. On the rolling 7 day numbers, we're at ~9,500 and they're at ~12,500

They have been dropping fast while we rise slowly, so may well go below us in a week or so though.

I took it from today's figures on Worldometer.

Most EU countries are in the hundreds of cases. Only France and Spain vaguely comparable and even then not really.
