Some encouraging news coming out of NI's worst affected region:

The arrow is when it was put in to a stricter lockdown (the lockdown that all of NI is now under) and as you can see around 10 days later cases began to drop.

Hopefully this time next week cases will be dropping across all of NI.

Bugger me.....you mean that keeping people apart results in less transmission?

Who would have guessed.

I'm being ironic of course....not commenting on the value of your post 🙂

I find it ridiculous that the Tories can literally be refusing kids free school meals and nothing is said. But if a Labour politician calls a Tory a bad name then they get jumped on by someone. Considering the PM can lie in the HoC I think saying ‘scum’ should be fair game. What a world we live in.

Harsh truth is a lot of the country agree with it - that you shouldn't get what you dont earn. It's why people were so terrified of socialism under Corbyn - that some of what they have will be given to those they feel are undeserving

The country gets the government it wants - we're just an echo chamber here

To be fair what I described happened in here.

I would also argue that far more get what they don’t earn in our society then they would under socialism.

I don't know...this Rashford campaign seems pretty popular.

And not sure if people were terrified of Corbyn's socialism, they just didn't take it seriously, and didn't like his pacifist past talking to IRA or islamist terrorist groups or whatever. When it comes to economics a lot of people are quite left wing...one of the reasons for Johnson's more keynsian economic policy.

I think a big problem with this country is the constant nast,y divisive bullshit from right wing media.

Was in the placebo group apparently..

Doesn't even matter since it's already done the rounds on Twitter and in the media as 'someone dying from the vaccine'. Hard to put the toothpaste back in the tube when a story like that first one gets pushed out with no extra details.

Have to say when you look at this map you have to question the whole tier system in the first place. I'm supposedly now in tier 3. I live literally 200 yards away from tier 2. There are loads of other areas that are classed as tier 2 that seem to have much worse case levels at the moment.
