I’m afraid there seems to be a backlog again. Most of today’s positives came from Thursday rather than Friday so we can expect a lot of Friday cases to be in tomorrow’s numbers.

I think every venue is already defined into pub/restaurant/cafe etc through licensing.

The only issue is that the list isnt necessarily up to date. They did this in Scotland and apparently one restaurant was still officially classified as a bank

The rules for pubs and restaurants are exactly the same at the moment yet one will be able to stay open and the other won't - probably depends what they all have shares in.

Closing both gyms and pubs is going to have a huge impact on people’s mental health over the autumn/winter - both of which are used as an escape from the norm, at opposite ends of the spectrum. Basically imprisoning the north isn’t going to end well.
