Nobody is printing t shirts 3 months out. If they are going to make a line up version it would have to have all the proper billing in place. And other than any TBA acts on the time table, a few can pop up when the schedule is released and they would likely be included on that batch of names.

 

And this applies to any event, why would you do it so early as to incur that expense and then if it cancelled? You have all this inventory you couldnt really do anything with. Yeah, for some festivals it would have a market, but thats not all of em.
