* It's only 463 days until the gates open.

* Once all this isolation stuff is over the party is going to last for weeks.

* With an extra year to plan, 2021 is going to be the best festival ever.

* You've all saved over £500 on average on tickets travel and food. Buy yourself something nice.

This is a bit of a selfish one but a big deal...The one thing I’ve just said to the girlfriend is that hopefully all these cancellations etc mean our wedding/honeymoon are fine in September.

Not selfish at all. Let's pluck whatever we can out of this.

I nearly posted that but wasn't sure about licensing etc.

the licencing allows a festival to happen every year. It's impossible not to have it that way with the way permanent licences work.

The fallow year is basically done as a courtesy to locals. I'm sure there'd be some who didn't like this year being designated as a fallow year but i think in the main it wouldn't be an issue.

Fuck all. Is there any festival at all that may happen this year? I have to give a years notice for annual leave though which will have fucked everything up anyway. I also can't cancel the leave for this year meaning I am stuck being off Saturday right through to following Tuesday, 11 days, with NOTHING to do.

With this forced non socialising, I'm taking the opportunity to decorate and do all the jobs I've been putting off

I've also bought a pair of running shoes today, I'm going to have more time, and less excuses, I need to get outside, go for a trot and get fitter/see the sea and just breathe fresh air

If this all clears Autumn is going to be one amazing party !

I have plenty of porn to watch while I sit at home in isolation (when i catch it).

Dodged the forced DIY as B&Q had run out of white paint when we went yesterday.

I can stop drinking that disgusting Mallets cider :)

I may be alone in actually liking it... 😐

Reason to be happy - I'll now go surfing down in Cornwall instead, assuming beaches aren't closed...

I went to a builders merchants today and was under charged. Essentially it meant that I got a free bolt and two free magnetic catches. Up until today, when faced with this type of event occuring, I usually start singing like a canary to the cashier that they've under charged me. Not today, however. I just needed to do 'it' once in my life, and why not do it now, when the world's economies are going to get fucking distorted beyond all recognition, and then some bastard little virus is going to kill me off.

I might now go down to the local Catholic church and nick the tabernacle. I've always wanted a tabernacle and now's my big chance.

I’ve started seeing a new woman in my life, and I’ve had an absolutely colossal amount of sex so far this year. It’s been fun!
sorry, but you did want positives 🤣🤣
Our planned holiday next weekend is up the swannee, and Glastonbury is knackered now, I’m waiting on Faith No More to get the boot and then I’ve officially got nothing at all booked. At all. Which sucks a bit.
