An inflammatory thread maybe, but would the festival going ahead putting entertainment above the populations welfare be advisable under the current extraordinary circumstances and go against the whole vibe  that it was originally set out to be 

As much as I'll miss it so much and would have been my last this year , I still think the best thing to do is put a halt to it now and also for the small stall holders being kept in limbo for as longer than necessary 

 Yes, lets talk about ethics here. Its unethical to start this to piss everyone off more when everyone is on edge already.  If this were in May and the festival was still a go with no sign of the virus slowing down, THEN we can have the argument. Coachella was just put into that position and made its decision with a month to go. Theres 3 months to work with and I think theyre going to take 2 1/2 of those to make a choice unless the government tells them before that time.

This is an inflammatory thread and I wish it would be locked. You can easily ask this question on the doomsday preppers thread, I mean the coronavirus thread. 

But I'll give my opinion anyways. I listen to governments. If the UK government allows the festival at the end of June, then they feel it's the right thing to do and I agree and I'll be there. Listening to people on twitter for your science and health advice helps no one.
