Possibly, but she's in Prague on the Thursday and after a quick check of her tour dates it seems she's mostly avoiding back to back dates, and where she is doing them they're both in the same country. So possible, but I think she's more likely for the Saturday or Sunday if she's playing.

Ah okay. Well then I think she will be fourth down pyramid on the Saturday and instead Gwen will play third down on the Friday.

I've been firmly in the "no chance Billie is playing and not headlining" camp and I'm more than happy to have egg on my face if I'm wrong.

I'll say if it does turn out to be true I'd be utterly over the moon and I think it would be one of the biggest bookings the festival has ever pulled off. Perhaps Glastonbury gambled on her blowing up and approached her to sub around the time of the last festival?

Having the likes of Aerosmith and Billie on the Pyramid in supporting roles would be outrageous.

She was already huge by the time of last festival, unless you mean when they originally booked her which I suppose would have been in 2018?

Same and I am not letting myself get too excited about it because I would feel very very let down if I got my hopes up.

Could Calvin Harris sub

He could but he won’t. He could probably headline, but he won’t.

Pendulum didn’t work as a sub & I think they Glasto knew it. Big enough to headline other with a big light show at night up against Macca.

Faithless did though.

If Calvin Harris was down to sub, someone would surely have a tap on the Eavis & organisers shoulders & say it was bad decision.

Doesn’t Calvin do just DJ sets these days? A DJ subbing Pyramid would be really odd. At least Pendulum was a band back then.

I believe you are correct. I last saw him back in 2007 or 08 when he was last playing live.

A DJ just wouldn’t work as a sub & he’s headlined most major festivals across the world so sort of working it out it only really leaves Other headliner when it’s dark & probably the position he deserve right now.

People seem to think he’s playing that slot. Not sure on the evidence but I reckon it’s him or Martin Garrix on the Saturday.

Sounds about as plausible as Taylor hanging round the cider bus/longdrops in the middle of the night last year.

I happened to meet a chef that personally cooked/cooks on tour for Aphex Twin, lies or not, he didn’t mention anyone playing Glastonbury.
