Glastomemory
Hi. Does anyone know of anywhere to park our car from Wednesday to the Monday. We have to leave our car there as we are getting a lift into the Festival?
Ommadawn
Can't think of anywhere obvious unless you can find a local willing for you to use their driveway or a pub to let you use their car park. There's a trading estate next to the Premier Inn where I guess you could find somewhere to leave your car for the weekend (there's been someone parked up in an old converted lorry for weeks close to where I work). There's plenty of car parks close to the festival site where you can leave for car for a very modest price.
Lycra
Some of the car parks in Glastonbury may do block bookings for the duration. Check online.
Summertime
I used this app in 2016 to find a local resident who was renting out their space for the festival. Worked really well and meant someone was keeping an eye on my car. https://www.justpark.com

EasyUserName
Benedict Street (yellow line) has unrestricted parking, but it is a crowded residential street so you wouldn't be popular parking there. Legal though. The yellow circle - Sedgemoor Way. There is unrestricted parking there which isn't in such demand and wouldn't likely upset people. There are other locations around town, but Sedgemoor would be the simplest - it is just off the A39 so not too tricky to find. I've circled the Abbey (orange circle) for reference. Don't plan on parking in Morrison's. It used to be unlimited, but they now have a 3 hour limit (which I suspect will catch people out this year) Edited January 27, 2020 by EasyUserName Add more detail

EasyUserName
This is Sedgemoor Street, looking East (to the right in the map photo above). You can see Garvins Road off to the right (that leads to the other parking marked by the straight yellow line). You can see in this photo a few vehicles parked (circled in red). As you can see, it's not the sort of parking that would annoy anyone at all. Benedict Street however, that would probably upset people as parking is so tight.
