I thought we might have got some Glastonbury gossip, but she was like what are you talking about? haha

unless she couldn't talk hmmm and is in fact playing

Nah I’d be shocked if she was back already. She doesn’t seem to be coming to Europe this year as she’s not at any other festivals.

I reckon she will be having a break after bonaroo.

For me, I think it was the booze mixed in with not being able to hear or understand the question.

It was phrased as a joke with the punchline being an implication that somerset, being rural, is dull and the complete opposite of Lizzo. Not knowing what Somerset is, or the context for what makes it a joke...it was always gonna flop out there and be awkward.

Lizzo knows what Glastonbury is. Didn't she blurt out and self confirm for last year's on the Brits red carpet 2019?

She also posted a nice tweet about it after the fest (and this seemed to be before she handed off her Twitter to her management company as it is now)

The kids are alright

I feel really good about the future of music tbh. Specifically popular music. We’ve got a lot of really promising artists which have come through in such a short space of time.

Anyone criticising Lizzo's ability to perform should have been at the West Holts that day. Flipping brilliant, and we were stuck right at the back, the energy was infectious throughout the entire field. I'd be surprised if Lizzo returned so quickly but if she did I'd be there.

I'm quite enjoying the gammons on twitter frothing at the idea of Greg James sullying the good name of the BBC by following in breakfast show tradition of failing to show up after a night on the lash

Do the massed ranks of gammon listen to Radio 1, or is this just something to get angry about again?

Just caught the Dave performance - I loved the message and he is very clearly a star.  The set up worked, the projections etc were spot on.  I don't really like his style, but I love the fact he has annoyed the establishment. This to me is exactly what the music industry should be about. Pissing off / calling out people in power.

The music industry is far too safe. Modern Day Daniel O'Donnells like Ed Sheeran need getting rid of.

The establishment need to feel that the  youth are being corrupted by their Rock / Rap and Pop stars - and people my age should be thinking "that's shit".

Team Dave! (As the kids say)
