Bear's Den have released an album with Paul Frith, taken songs from their first three albums and re-done them with strings and piano, plus a few new songs. Really like this, it's given the songs quite a different feel; almost an Olafur Arnalds type sound. It's lovely stuff.

New Fleet Foxes sounding like a return to form.

Definitely - it’s a very good return indeed. Fantastic album - going to get a lot of repeats I think as it’s perfect background WFH music (in a good way).
Also glad it dropped mid week to allow me a chance to have several listens, as it may have passed me by if not.

Also only 2 weeks till we can all proper rock out 🤘

Looking forward to the album.  The stuff they've been dropping has definitely got my attention.

Another +1 for Fleet Foxes as well.  Between that and Bear's Den I'm feeling particularly calmed today :)

Great album, agree with your sentiments, was just saying to my sister it feels a bit like a like a sigur ros album but if sigur ros were from california rather than iceland, same wall of sound, dynamics heavy anthems but  with those sighing, woozy, late summer vibes. Get em booked!

Spotted this on Twitter, solo material from the lead singer of Beach Bunny.  Like this a lot

Aye that's great. Bit heavier/less jangly pop than the Beach Bunny record, enough that it sounds distinct anyway. Really good.
