The OtW2020 playlist from everyone’s suggestions is now 38 acts strong. I’ve not included acts who have already released albums or those who have been active for more than three years but from whom 2019 saw fewer releases (suggesting the brightness of their light was already fading).
It will be interesting to see how many make the lineup.
Here is a link to the playlist.

Following!

Thanks for pulling this together, hopefully it will become just as essential as BSRs.

Met the gentleman that represents her for Dirty Hit. I made sure I got his card and fb to see what The 1975 plans are for Glastonbury. He said she is playing.

Nice one, like what I've heard, and have added her to the Glastonbury 2020 playlist on the back of this. Her Spotify numbers are impressive, she seems to be doing well in the US already.

Is your Japanese House tip from the same source?

Worth a mention on the rumours page, @eFestivals?

Yup from the same source. I’ll message him again now.

Very 70s but very enjoyable are Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, who played BBC Introducing last year:

Missed them at Glastonbury but caught them at Skeleton Coast later in the year, really enjoyed them.

Came in here to see if anyone had done this yet so fantastic work 👍

I'll have a listen and share my thoughts. Only tune I've heard recently that grabbed me was Nightlife Blues by North Downs. Real Maribou State vibes.

No idea why no-one has yet mentioned the stupendous Working Mens' Club.  Saw them last year and they were brilliant - one of those gigs where you came away raving about the band.

Oh yes, have enjoyed their limited output so far- looking forward to more from them this year!

Seen them a couple of times last year and, whilst I enjoyed them, I still think they need a drummer. Kept thinking of this watching them

Really nice, big thumbs up from this award-winning actor/producer/writer/director.
