Castle Cary to Glastonbury town

For one of my Christmas presents me and my girlfriend are booked into a little BnB in Glastonbury town in February.

I've always wanted to explore the area pre glasto fest (see the abbey, walk the Tor and go to worthy farm), we have bought train tickets to castle cary and was wondering the best way to get into glastonbury town is? local bus is the taxi expensive? and also how to get from glastonbury town to worthy farm seems a bit to far to walk (unless the weather is good).

 

It might have been better driving but we bought our train tickets so hey ho.
