My biggest shame is that I'd never played it before this year, sank nearly 200 hours into it!

It is an absolute time vortex.  I try not to think about the number of times I caught myself saying "just one more side quest" at 2am...

Or more depressingly, forging yet another steel dagger :D

Marshall Jefferson & Solardo - Move your body

Glastonbury Set:

Kylie - happiest I've ever felt at the Pyramid

Andy C at Dreamland.  Backstory, Dreamland is our local amusement park that was saved from the hands of property developers by local campaigns and fundraising and a compulsory purchase.  It's now also an amazing event space and hosted Andy C this summer on the outdoor stage.  Something I never would have dreamed would happen during the campaign days so special moment for me.

I got Men Without Women for Christmas last year and really enjoyed it. Stuck Killing Commendatore on this years list so hopefully I'll have another of his to read in the new year.

Taskmaster Season 9 (Baddiel, Brand, Gamble, Matafeo, Wix). First thing in a long time that's consistently had me belly laughing

I think James Acaster has been my favourite guest so far. His rants were a thing a beauty.

I've got tickets for Alex Horne's book tour tomorrow so get a signed copy of his taskmaster book and do a few tasks!

I've got to say that I think Ed Gamble is up there for me.  He was 100% committed to it, and just consistently made me laugh my arse off.

I can also confirm that My Baby were great fun last week in Brighton.  They're definitely a far better live band than they are on record; it just doesn't capture the energy for me.  Quite low attendance being a relatively unknown band on a cold Thursday night, but crowd was dancing from start to finish :)

Yes indeed.  Was a good night and Hall by the Sea is a good venue but you can't beat those summer events on the Scenic Stage.

I went to DJ Yoda on the main stage in May... unfortunately it was absolutely baltic!

haha that's unfortunately the way it goes sometimes in this lovely country of ours!  In contrast, the Camp Bestival takeover on the same stage in April was glorious!
