Toilet Duck
Sure, what the hell...I'll play. Shocking lack of diversity, but hey, it's what I liked over the last decade and they're all still in regular rotation...not particular original or obscure, but that's me! Albums... Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell (absolute masterpiece from beginning to end) Arcade Fire - The Suburbs (hard pressed to pick between this and Reflektor to be honest...love them both) The Decemberists - The King is Dead (Decemberists, Peter Buck, Gillian Welch...what's not to like) Broken Bells - Broken Bells (hoping they are back in 2020 in time for June!) Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Push the Sky Away (just gets better and better, live and indoors takes on another life entirely) Wilco - Sky Blue Sky (much maligned, but I love it, Nels can be a bit like marmite for Wilco fans, but on this, he worked for me) The Magnetic Fields - 50 Song Memoir (ok, maybe not all 50, but there's 2 albums of magic in there) Father John Misty - Fear Fun (again, hard pick, could just as easily be I Love You, Honeybear) Alvvays - Alvvays (played this endlessly) The War on Drugs - Lost in the Dream (everything just seemed to come together on this one) Tracks... Düsseldorf - Teleman (put on, put on your favourite song) Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings - Father John Misty Bone Dry - Eels Red Eyes - The War on Drugs This is Why We Fight - The Decemberists Burning Jacob’s Ladder - Mark Lanegan Band Reflektor - Arcade Fire Archie, Marry Me - Alvvays Should Have Known Better - Sufjan Stevens Jubilee Street - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds (look at me now!) Mezhyp1
This was fucking hard, and I may have another go at the end of the month when I've changed my mind another 25 times, and I had to do 11, because 10 is a shite number and that was as low as I could go to try and diversify myself across the different tastes I went through during the decade Albums: Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool Against All Logic - 2012-2017 Beach House - Depression Cherry Sharon Van Etten - Remind Me Tomorrow Jamie XX - In Colour Tame Impala - Currents Arcade Fire - The Suburbs King Krule - 6 Feet Beneath The Moon Floating Points - Elaenia Caribou - Our Love Foals - Total Life Forever Tracks: New Jackson - Having A Coke With You Frank Ocean - Pyramids Connan Mockasin - Former Dolphin Love (Erol Alkan Rework) Kettenkarussel - Maybe Radiohead - Daydreaming Foals - Spanish Sahara LCD Soundsystem - You Wanted A Hit Thom Yorke - Suspirium Young Fathers and The Leith Congressional Choir - Only God Knows Robyn - Dancing On My Own Midland - Final Credits

Badlands
I'll stick up for the Ronson / Mars track as well. Whilst Ronson cannot seem to keep it up for a full album, he's made a fist full of bangers this decade.

Cant find a bbc clip, but this one's pretty good. Thinking about it this and the Winehouse track are the only specific moments that stick in the mind, but the memory of that whole set is just having a blast. Was surprisingly good fun from start to finish. Edited December 7, 2019 by Quark

SwedgeAntilles
Bump for this, another week to get your lists in. Will compile them next Monday and hopefully get them posted on Christmas Eve. So far I have lists from; @assorted, @lessthanwill1, @thrillhouse188, @Wooderson, @GrumpyRaver (albums only), @BlackZeppelin (albums only), @jyoung (albums only), @a6l6e6x (albums only), @StevieGed (albums only), @JSmurphy, @hfuhruhurr (tracks only), @Toilet Duck. If I missed anyone let me know (just a reminder that ´in now particular order´ aren´t counted unfortunately). If it´s the case that we don´t have enough TOTD lists to compile a master list I´ll throw everything that´s been mentioned onto a spotify playlist and focus on the AOLD list.
