Better than expected. Really like the instrumental. Just a shame Julian is up to his usual ‘sing as out of key and to a completely different melody as possible’ for a lot of it, but guess that’s just his vibe.

With a mate chatting to other 30 somethings in clearly an older crowd before they hit the stage. Then they come on with Someday and all of a sudden the whole of the place erupts and it's chaos. As much as I'd love to see them at the 50th anniversary headlining Other on the Sunday, in this sort of form they deserve to headline the Pyramid.

It's such a simple feeling but gigs where the whole crowd is jumping around and dancing are so fun. I kinda feel like I don't even need to see The Strokes again because I think it'll be hard to top last night

Was my first time seeing them and have to say it was incredible. Have always wanted to hear Julian's ramblings live!

Been a great week of gigs so far with Frank Carter and Glass animals but this topped both! Mura Masa and 2x The 1975 next but i'm doubting either will live up to last night.
