That said Ray Davies was the perfect pick-me-up afterwards, a delightful performance. 

The trouble with us football fans is (especially if you are Welsh) that we know deep down that we are more likely to enjoy the music and the music is less likely to let us down yet we still always choose football over music.

Wales are playing on the Saturday of Download and I’m already looking for ways to watch them, knowing full well that I’m probably going to end up disappointed and pissed off at the bands I’d have missed.

Haha this sums up my feelings perfectly. Absolutely gutted I'll have to miss Glasto and the Download Saturday but I'm going out to Baku and Rome to more than likely watch us lose but hard not to watch your team in an international tournament, especially when our appearances are sporadic as they are.

Love a trip away but jealous it's basically on the doorstep for England fans for most rounds. Whoever thought Baku was a good idea needs their head checking. Or their wallet I guess.

I’ll be in Rome but Baku is a bit too far for me, haha
