I really like So Far So Fast. I'd keep Not In Kansas as it is but bin the two instrumentals, Dust Swirls In Strange Light and Hairpin Turns. About ten mins off the record and four tracks shorter then we have ourselves a winner. I actually rarely play the first track as well but that can stay...

Ditch Hairpin Turns? You monster.

The stand out for me is of course Fontaines DC - Dogrel. Not a bad track on the album. Just superb.

Some others I liked off the top of me noggin..

Weyes Blood - Titanic Rising

Marika Hackman - Any Human Friend

Murder Capital - When I Have Fears

Chelsea Wolfe - Birth of Violence

Mattiel - Satisfactory

Andrew Bird - My Finest Work Yet

Slowthai - Nothing Great About Britain

Edit: a cursory glance through the pages in afterhand reminds me that i have missed big thief, angel Olsen, Sigrid amongst many others. 2019 has been a decent auld vintage.

1. International Teachers of Pop - International Teachers of Pop

That is all. Seriously - why has no one on this thread mentioned that one yet? I've listened to approximately 225 albums released in 2019 in full so far, and this is by far the best.

It was in my first draft, didn't make the cut, it's great though. Love the new single with Jason Williams.

Peeps should support Piccadilly by buying something from them this Chrimble. This booklet is outstanding.

How do you rank Vulnicura in relation to the other Bjork albums?

Made a conscious effort to get back into new albums this year rather than just playing the lead tracks or oldies but goodies, so for the first time i can do a full top twenty of my favourites although they are in no particular order.

I have noticed that it has all gone very soft rock and middle aged singer songwritery this year which certainly would not have been the case years gone by, but as i am nearing 60 and listen to most music while pottering around the kitchen or sitting down in the garden with a few wines or some home grown i am more than comfortable with the way that things have turned out and am especially pleased that many of the artists are new to me this year.

Robert Foster - Inferno

Jenny Lewis - On the Line

Moon Duo - Stars are the light

Richard Hawley - Further

Omar Souleyman - Shlon

Purple Mountains - Purple Mountains

Prince Fatty - In the Vipers Shadow

Case & Status - Return to Jungle

Peter Perrett - Humanworld

Dee White - Southern Gentleman

Faye Webster - Atlanta Millionaires Club

Fat White Family - Serfs Up

Fontains DC - Dogrel

Ibibio Sound Machine - Doko Mien

Jay Som - Anak Ko

Tycho - Weather

The Specials - Encore

Tinariwen - Amadjar

Vagabon - Vagabon

Lizzo - Cuz i love you
