Where to pitch our tent

I’ve bought the tent and currently researching camp beds and sleeping bags ? but I really  would like some advice about where to try and pitch the tent so we can get some sleep ? Thanks

have a read of this ... its very useful ... but apart from that some decent earplugs .... a blackout tent ... you will inevitably get some noise due to the fact its a tent ... only place to avoid in my opinion would be party central pennards or right outside the beat hotel ...open till 3 am .... although its new version might be different

Probably best to head for the West camping areas from gates A or D as they have more space and are a bit further out from the action. Check out the 2019 map on the info page of the festival website.

Try Bushy ground, just on the left as you go through gate D. Plenty of space and quiet and really close to the entrance! I've camped there a few years. First year was because it was such a pain to get in that was the nearest spot, then I camped there the next 3 or 4 years.

Thanks for the heads up - def think we’ll be heading in that direction or possibly Pylon as that’s where my boyfriend’s daughter  camped last year and we hope to camp close - ish  to them !

Tbh I don’t get enough sleep the other 51 weeks of the year so I want to at least get a decent amount so as not to feel completely knackered the whole time!

Come on - be fair.  The OP didn't say she wanted to sleep through the whole festival.  A decent night's sleep can set you up to get more out of the festival.
