Sarahevans90
We have accidentally bought a pre erected tent on the worthy view site- rather than the sticklinch site where the rest of our group is. Does anyone know if there is a way of doing a swap or finding other buys that want to swap from stick lunch to worthy view? Any advice would be great as this is really upsetting, which sounds spoilt but the 6 couple were all trying to stay together for the experience! Very gutted! Contact see tickets but I doubt they would swap. You never know though. You could wait for the resale but that would mean cancelling your existing booking in the hope you are successful. dotdash79
Or keep existing booking attempt to get place in right camp site in resale then cancel this booking. Do so before the 7th May and you will get a refund.
One Tonne Baby
That obviously sucks, but the reality is that both camps are pretty far from the main site, so you shouldn't be spending too much time there when you aren't sleeping. You'll say goodnight at 4am and then hello again at 10am. But seriously, if you cant change them, it wont hamper your glasto experience, just a minor inconvenience. Ayrshire Chris
Pangea could have to be your meeting point! That’s about half way between the sites.

Do you get up at 10am when at Glasto? I can't usually move until 1230
mattiloy
Haha man. Thats a rough one. 300 smackaroonies for a tent in the wrong arse end of nowhere. I’m sure you’ll find somebody out there who is willing to swap and its very first world problems so don’t take the lack of sympathy personally. It is a bit funny. Worst case scenario you can always cancel it (i guess?) and take a tent and pitch up by the sticklinch. There will be loads of room because its the arse end of nowhere.

Watching the bootleg beatles at 10am, on my own, in the drizzling rain, shaking as i tried to sip coffee was one of my best moments of 2017
WestCountryGirl
Someone has made a Worthy/Sticklinch swap thread on the Glasto reddit page. The OP doesn't make it clear though - might be about just swapping tent sizes in the particular site or swapping between.

It may be as simple as contacting Seetickets and explaining your purchase went Pete Tong. Someone may have done the exact same thing as you and booked Sticklinch by accident, so See may just do the old switcheroo for you. It might not work, but it's definitely worth a try. The idea is good but how are they going to deal with loads of people turning up saying 'so and so said I could swap with them' whilst the actual person is on the other side of the site trying to do the same to check into the other area. Oh yeah I'm sure it wouldn't be able to work like that. I can only think it will still entail both parties having to get in touch with SeeTickets so that there is some confirmation of registration changes to each site. I agree, get it sorted before the festival via the correct channels to avoid dissapointment.

That’s true, it’s bad enough navigating down the long and winding road to worthy view along miles of narrow country lanes without meeting cars coming in the other direction trying to find Sticklinch! Pleading their case to a (albeit very nice) volunteer who has been told unequivocally only let people with WV bookings past this point. No exceptions! Bit of anecdotal evidence for you lot... this year we took the coach from Reading arriving at Ped Gate A. We opted to walk to WV rather than wait for the shuttle. After trekking across site and getting up the so-called hill of death, we’re met by a very friendly volunteer that can’t let us in to WV because we havn’t got a yellow wristband. The ones that everyone else got from the car park side. Instead of escorting as through the campsite (there was 5 volunteers in charge of 1x gate and none looked busy) they made us walk all the way around the perimeter of the campsite adding about 20 min detour on the end of our 1 hour journey. I’m not sure what the moral of the story is? Use the shuttle? Don’t do Coach + WV? Either way I fear for the people that jumped on the pre-sale! The moral of the story is that with the emphasis on Coach & WV tickets this year, WV should recognise that some people are going to make that walk (i'm sure you aren't the only ones that have done it in all the years it's been open) and have a process in place to deal with it, in a reasonable fashion, when it does. Does it say anywhere in the info that WV ticket holders must come via car or the shuttle bus?
