Will do one of these for each of the three headliners.

Well you might as well make the Franz Ferdinand one now...

PSbs would be the only clash that would possibly keep me from seeing him so I went with the second one down ...

FWIW if Franz are playing I'll be there with bells on...

(watch them clash with McCartney now)

I totally get that he’s a legendary booking, worthy of the stage, but I’ll be keeping my eyes open at what else is happening at the same time. It’s nice to have at least one night away from the pointy lady.

Perplexed by the negative responses. I'm going with a completely different group this year and the whatsapp group was full of people saying it was a bullshit booking, got 7 months to find some new friends basically ahah.

Not a single complaint from me but unless there’s nothing else available I won’t be there.

Very much in that i get he's a big deal but its not for me.

Think it's a brilliant booking for an anniversary and I'm sure it'll be a massive sing-a-long and just about everyone who goes to see it will leave thinking it was incredible and very fitting of the 50th anni, but I'll be elsewhere as it's just not something I've any interest in

Outstanding!! I saw him two years ago in NZ and it was in my top three gigs of all time. That voice performing those songs in that setting is going utterly incredible. I couldn’t be happier with this!!!!!

Yep - my Saturday night (and Sunday afternoon) are all sorted.  Delighted with this.  Now onto the thread where someone was slagging off Emily to see how that humble pie is tasting!

This is exactly my thoughts as well - there will be plenty of other options

His voice may not be what it used to be but he's a motherflipping Beatle.

unless Ringo starts doing Thomas the tank engine conventions, it's unlikely that I'll get another chance to see a Beatle.

There will have to be something special to tempt me away

Right, I voted for "Fantastic Booking! Wouldn't miss it for anything!" but I'm probably halfway between that and "Good booking, guy is obviously a legend. Will probably be there."

I'm massively excited now it's been announced though! I didn't see a Pyramid headliner this year so will nice to be back there :D

Very much in the camp of if there is something else on I'll give him a miss. I get he's a legend etc but really not for me. I don't even like the beatles (blasphemy I know)

A Prodigy set on the Other would make it a tough choice but I think its more likely to be 1975 to even it out a bit. I won't miss Macca though.
