Yes, scenes from Midsummer Nights Dream. Watched from the platform for about 15 mins. Spirited performance, but I cant say that I enjoyed it. Way too erratic as they tried to Glastonbury it up instead if trusting the material to stand up and cast its own spell.

Still, a tricky little venue with plenty of coming and going. I'm sure they'll learn from this year and improve on it next year.

I am guessing it's just parts of plays

I spent half an hour there, mildly entertaining and another part of the festival seen.

I’d rather see a proper Shakespeare production though, I don’t see that any music or arts at the festival needs to be dumbed down.

Would love to see some Shakespeare while there, but the issue could be the length? Sorry, but I'm not going to spend four+ hours watching Hamlet with so much else to see!

I saw an edited double bill once of Romeo and Juliet and Measure for Measure. I think they cut them both down to less than 90 minutes?

We definitely still got the whole story, and got to see two Shakespeare plays in one night. Something like that would be perfect!

Yes. It was casual, authentic, funny, a mixture between traditional and modern, lots of twists. Imagine Juliet doing To Be or Not To Be as charades to William.
the costumes were great. Here is a clip of a three headed William that was forever arguing with himself.

No but I did see shitfaced Shakespeare at the Bread and roses a few years ago and it was really funny.

For those not familiar it's a company where one of the cast has to drink a lot of alcohol throughout the show while trying to perform.
