Fingers crossed its back in Scotland. Think is was 13/14 it was last here.

Give it enough time and everything comes back in to fashion. Even Ms Piper 😊

Chances of Dua Lipa? She's in Germany on the 20th and then back to London on the Tuesday after this. I'm from Dundee so pretty excited, hopefully tickets aren't too hard to come by for locals

Calvin Harris has a date for his Vegas residency on the Friday so definitely the Saturday or Sunday, with the latter surely more likely?

Could that mean Fridays headliner is to be announced

I'm surprised people didn't call Biffy more before the announcement. Big (PR) show in their heartlands on the eve of a new album? No brainer.

I don't think it's a hard rule that dictates the rest of the line up but I think there will be an effort to bag a few more Scottish acts, given the location.

Given the time of year too, I imagine quite a few artists will be viable. Though that said, surely there's biggest fish to fry than The Killers? Wouldn't R1 want someone like Billie Eilish or Taylor Swift first?

Also disclosure playing Riverside Festival in Glasgow on the Sunday, hopefully means they'll be on the line up somewhere.

Could they be the dance headliner

He's playing This is Tomorrow on the Saturday. Assuming Friday is a dance day then Sunday's surely most likely?

Never heard of that festival, thanks for mentioning it, I’m interested!

Could be wrong but for w/e reason, the BBC website lists Biffy's day as the 22nd (Friday), so Gerry might be playing then too

edit: nm, I double checked the other artists and it lists them all as the 22nd right now.

If Friday's usually the dance day then yeah, Sunday's probably most likely for Gerry.

The silence on this is worrying. Must be at serious risk of getting cancelled.

Think Big weekend is under serious threat of not going ahead this year, probably why they are holding back on announcing more artists.
