Seems like a weird choice of venue for Reading festival.

Love the fact it can’t be Aerosmith because they’re too big to announce but RHCP are fine!

Surely its a big band touring around Feb time similar to Foos?

What I mean is if this announced as a ticketed event this would be an absolute nightmare logistically and crowd wise.

The reason the foos worked is because it was a surprise gig. The venue can’t handle thousands of Aerosmith fans coming with enough notice. If it’s going to work it needs to be a short notice thing.

Thats like me booking BST to play at the townhall and letting their fans know weeks in advance.

Surely it's Aerosmith? Seems like it will tie in with Glastonbury given the history and location and it sounds like it'll be an overseas act.

Huey has recently moved out from Frome, to Bath.

And he announced a hometown show for bath only yesterday.

Hometown show in Bath and a cheerio to the Cheese and Grain still seems more likely than it being another enormo-band like some here are speculating.
