GoonerRob
So last year a friend of mine ( mn_bespoke ) who is a bit of a product design nerd / carpenter / all round maker of cool stuff was tasked with making a trolley that wasn't shit (our last two have progressively fallen apart over time)... this is what he came up with... made from an upcycled mobility scooter Key features: USB / Car lighter port for charging phones etc Solar panel to recharge battery You can drive it! Carried 8 peoples tents, sleeping bags, chairs and a bag or two all at once Easily carries many crates of beer with almost no effort. Key so you can leave it in a tent porch and it cant be stolen Can't work out how to add video but will attempt to work that out later... What do you guys think? 1

Crazyfool01
Not sure the wheels are big enough and ground clearance a bit low ... apart from that looks good 8/10

BlueDaze
in fairness... i have always attended in the CV East fields and so have never had the need for a trolley.. However, one of the joys for me is to be up at 7am on wednesday with a cup of coffee watching the masses pile in... Always amazed by by the look of surpise on the faces of some of the youngsters whose suitcase has had a wheel fall off... or the lads whose flimsy trolley has collapsed under 6 crates of beer... and full of respect for those that have prepared with a proper trolley... I would probably congratulate the owner of this rasper..

Needs to make a 2016-ready version on caterpillar tracks. Then I'll be impressed.

henry bear
Great product but I’m not convinced it’s entirely in keeping with the ethos of the festival

I don’t think it’s too far away from the overall ethos personally! Plus it will be resused every year meaning we don’t have to buy another (or contribute to the trolley graveyard you see coming in at the start of the festival!)

Crazyfool01
why do you have a iPad under the seat ? not for filming bands I hope ?
H.M.V
Brilliant idea but body looks too close to the ground and wheels definitely need to be bigger. Doubt that would survive 2016 conditions.

Doubt that would survive 2016 conditions. The idea behind it was that it was originally designed to transport larger people up kerbs / hills etc so it should be ok... we tested it before but couldn't find any mud to try it in. The wheels are larger than they look, they are sack truck wheels and larger than the original wheels it came with. Hoping next year is as good as this year so we wont have to find out!
