Are you really bored, and in desperate need of reading anything Glastonbury Festival related?

Well, if you do, then look no further than the link below. It's a study entitled ' An investigation of the effects Glastonbury Festival has on the day-to-day lives of the communities of local villages'. I haven't read it, and only stumbled over it quite by accident (while looking for something else to do with the festival). However, since some of you out there seem to know the gps coordinates of the long drops, I thought that it might interest some;

Would have benefited from an exploration and contrast of quantitative data to supplement, and perhaps add context to, the limited qualitative data used here.

Ultimately, the reader is left unsure of any social impact of The Foals headlining.

A solid first step in approaching this area.

72%.

I'm afraid that I don't know them either. It amazes me how much knowledge some people have of the festival though. When I've been to it, I've always got blasted from start to finish, so never know things like where the Goan Curry outlet is, and so forth.

I'll take your word for it kalifire, as I haven't read it, and have little intention of doing so. I only put it out there because I thought that it might interest some people.

By the way - did you get a ticket? Hope so.

Ha, I only skim read it. As can be the way with these things, it appeared more a dissertation on doing a dissertation than anything else.

Yep, 2020 ticket in the bag! See you on the farm?

Probably not, I'm afraid. I originally had no intentions of going next year, so tried for friends on T Day instead. It wouldn't have made any difference had I been trying for myself in any case, as I didn't get through to the booking page. Since then I was asked to join somebody in the 50 pairs of ticket ballot, and have done so. Should that manifest itself in to an offer of tickets, then i will be going. I'll also try all the competitions closer to the time too, just on the off chance.

This.

I couldn’t believe it last year when my one friends managed to walk us across the site DIRECTLY to VFC (Vegan Chicken Stand my mate wanted to eat at) at about midnight.

Never took a wrong turn. Never got distracted by anything. Like a homing missile.

HOW.
