wro_lap
Despite the fact that the Kasabian poster literally rules them out of Glastonbury, I’m going to say that they aren’t ruled out of Glastonbury.

I don’t think they were ever in contention to top the Pyramid. I wouldn’t be a fan of that, to be honest. Secret set on John Peel, however.... Got to agree with warnings on attempting to ressurect bands as we once knew them - they are from another time, another place and much of their appeal was their innovation - still, it's hard to let go of the ones you loved PS am thinking personally of Led Zep rather than ABBA, no offence... Smeble
Brian May emphatically ruled Queen out on R2 this morning, apparently he doesn’t like ME insulting him and ME penchant for badger killing. Nothing new there then.
John the Moth
No surprise here in the slightest, but sharing as it’s an interesting interview. Not only are REM never performing live ever again, Michael Stipe isn’t even interested in playing his solo stuff. Looking forward to the release of the remastered version, be listening to it against the original on Friday I reckon As much as I'd love to see them again, especially the chance to see them on the Pyramid, I'm kinda glad they're sticking the their guns on this. Integrity and all that in the face of what would undoubtedly be a pay day to make it rain! Edited October 29, 2019 by Quark
