Royal Blood in JP in 2014, Killers in JP in 2017 and C&tQ this year are the stand outs for me

I was front centre barrier for C&tQ and the whole show was just phenomenal up close

Two standouts for pure enjoyment are Hot Chip on West Holts in '15 and Chic on the Pyramid in '17.

Stormzy this year felt like being present at a cultural moment in a way I've never experienced with anything else though

years? Who knows.

Joan Armatrading - early 90s and mid 2000s.
Groove Armada - 1998?
Eddy Grant (yep, the best tasting cheese).
Lizzo

Ummm ... most years are just a blur. :P

Eddy Grant was 2008 and is one of the best live shows I've ever seen. Unbridled joy from start to finish.

Can’t remember the year and it was only on a small stage but f me they were good- Small Medium Large

and

19 (last year): Morcheba, have always loved them and never seen them. Amazing. Only on in a small tent but just blew me away how good her voice is and she did that Bowie track Let’s Dance- unreal

the best shows i've personally ever seen at Glastonbury are:

Metallica 2014

Levellers 2005

Levellers 1994

Prodigy 2009

Faithless - can't remember what year but it was the Jazz World stage, possibly 1999?

the best single evening i ever had was david gray > suede > REM - can't remember what year, or what order they played, but i do remember it was the most "sheer joy" sequence of bands i've seen there.

Eddy Grant was just absolutely brilliant - and possibly the most rock n' roll show i've seen there when they tried to chuck him off stage and he just kept going...

not sure if you're right about the year but that's one to add to my list too. Saw Faithless many times but that's the only one which stands out.
