No luck for me either.

Beginning to think about sacking Glastonbury off this year and trying something else like IOW or one of the ones in Ireland (handier for me).

I'm in a different position than most of you as I've never been to any festival so at least I don't know what I'm missing yet.

Body & Soul on the weekend before glasto is worth a look.

Please please try boomtown, shambala, green man, beautiful days or bearded theory Over IOW unless you’re just there for a lineup

I’m also hearing good things about End of The Road, got a ticket for that myself this year based on the positive reviews ?

When do they usually announce the lineup? Are tickets a nightmare?

Early Bird and Loyalty Scheme tickets went within a few hours at the start of September. It's not clear when the 2020 General Release tickets will go on sale yet, has varied over the years. Last year it was early December, previously it's been in March or April.

Line-up announcements don't tend to come until at least three weeks before the festival these days, which is rather infuriating for regular punters but this is the modern world we live in.
