best network for tickets

does the network you use affect your chances? our 2 groups of six got tickets via same guy (now known as "Saint ...." ) via Virgin but those on BT didn't get a sniff

Sky broadband last year and this year for me

O2 for me, the only time I got through on my phone before I was in Germany. I had a few sniffs of the holding page on one of the laptops, whereas the 4g consistently got the holding page from about 0905.

Used BT broadband (home), neighbours Sky (with permission), EE on 4G and another BT via BT Fon and didn't get beyond the holding page on any of them. Person in the group that did get our tickets was tethered to a mobile on Giff Gaff (o2)

I’m on Virgin and got through on my laptop via a tether at 9:01, dunno if there’s any reason why or if it’s just luck.

There is no best network, when a socket opens up it's first come first serve. It doesn't even really matter how good your ping or bandwidth is, other than being able to refresh more times (which I believe is limited to 60 per minute anyway?)

The seetickets servers don't know what an ISP is. It's all just being lucky and making that connection as soon as it opens up.

Those days are long since past. 

I know more people who failed on virgin than you mentioned succeeded, but I know more people who failed than anything.

I didn’t get a sniff with virgin fibre optic this year.  It’s always well in the past

BT last year & this year. Didn’t get them last year, got them this. Makes no difference what so ever.

Totally random, there is no best network.... other then the one that happened to work for you which of course will seem like the best.

I have the fastest Virgin package and 02 on my phone and didn't get anywhere today.
