Ohh love a Viking. Our roundabout in Shepton mallett has stone sheep on it. Someone dresses them from time to time. Last month they all wore face masks. This month they have their Santa hats on.

I’ve seen the Shepton sheep!  The statue is Magnus the Viking, 5 metres tall and was put up to commemorate the 750th anniversary of a battle when the vikings got a right doing on the beach.

Hers a new one.  Seems a  Scandinavian high is heading our way which will keep the days dry, bright but bitterly cold. No weather fronts can move in from the west, blocked by this.  Still prefer the June Azores finger and Spanish plume
