Don't know whether to pick two for Priority or not next year - did a count and looks like I'll have done >10 in the last 10 years in 2021 with Bearded in the bag now for this year:

2011 - Glasto,

2014 - Bearded,

2015 - Bearded and B-Days,

2016 - Bearded and Shambala,

2017 - Bearded and Boomtown,

2018 - Bearded,

2019 - Bearded,

2020 - Just signed up to Bearded again!

They don't forget all these on their database do they or something....?

Yeah, I've used the 10 in 10 rule before and had no problem

just the first bit .... no questions and no second festival necessary ... and pay the full amount .... and then complete profile at a later date

So let me get this straight, on Tuesday I go on the site, select glastonbury from the drop down menu  pay my deposit (or is it the full amount?), complete the application (many tricky questions?), then go back at select a second festival from the list?

Yes, this. The deposit is the full amount up front (£265 for Glastonbury, more for Boomtown, less for other festivals). As soon as you've done this part your place is assured as long as you do your bit (provide the relevant info, attend training, reference checks out, and not be on a blacklist somewhere).

This part comes at a later date. Questions aren't tricky - basic stuff about yourself that you (should) know, and an E-Mail address for someone to give you a reference.

You can do this straight away if you want to add another festival. There's no obligation to do so though.

Have they moved the date to pay the full amount earlier this year? I swear I paid the full amount in April last year?

For Oxfam? You definitely would have paid the full amount up front, it's been that way as long as I can remember.

Other organisations may vary. Unless you mean tickets instead of volunteering in which case yeah first week of April.

You probably won't get a time much in advance, if at all.

Today was originally said to be "mid morning", ended up being 1:30 pm.

Woop! I’m all sorted for Glastonbury and Trailwalker (local to me) stewarding so this is a beautiful thing!
ideally i’d get the early shifts and be down the Saturday before, but I’m aware that’s pretty unlikely - I’m more than happy with Monday morning first thing. Can’t wait. If anyone fancies a tea/pint and a wander onsite on the Mon or Tues then let me know 👍🏻

Oh really, well that's torn it then. Why cant I find the full list to check if i can do another one?

Their list of events for 2020 is here. It looks like they don't actually accept Glastonbury applications until March 1st anyway - February 1st is for their other events.

It’s been a good day. On with Oxfam at Bearded, Womad, Boomtown and Shambala. Got tickets for the big G. A great summer is in the offing 😊

very best of luck to those having a go next week. If you approach it as ticket day you will be sorted.

hopefully see some of you guys in a field somewhere...
