just seen this on my timeline .... 5 years ago I had the great pleasure of sitting with Michael for Dinner at a charity event at Maunsel house just outside Taunton .... the last tickets available and they put us on the top table with Michael because apparently I sounded so nice on the phone :) .... and what a pleasure it was ... and adds to the June determination

apparently a 15 min walk form parson street for us ... thats very handy for you  Bristol seems to have a decent number of gigs ....unlike Taunton .... and limited / no late trains .... so it might need to be the mega bus home ... will see if I can talk anyone into it as I dont fancy the journey on my own

Saw Elvana in Bristol last weekend, which made up for the disappointment of arriving at the Truth stage half way through the final song of their encore on Sunday night this year.

They were a lot of fun.

McCartney is one of the worst acts to announce for this.

In 2004 his fans bought tickets and only came the day he played and left after,  things just got tougher  ;(

Nope ... 50th has always had massive hype around it ... don’t loose all hope .. ther e were always going to be some big ones announced it won’t suit everyone and peoples plans and circumstances change

Did they?

Honestly never saw much indication of that in the slightest.

Yeah, I reckon that if it happened, then no more so than most headliners, and probably less than some others (the only time I've really been aware of it was The Rolling Stones).

Yeah their crowd and everything around it was quite something, more distinct than anything else I've ever seen tbh.
