buying tickets when not in the UK ?

The main site currently says this:

 

UK buyers may use either a UK registered debit card or UK registered credit card. International buyers must use a credit card (with a non-UK billing address).

 

so does that mean one of our group who is not currently in the UK will have to use a non uk credit card, even though his and our reg address -are- in the UK ?

They would just use their normal card as address is UK, doesn't matter if buying it elsewhere it's about your home address

So just to clarify. If I am from the UK with a UK billing address but am on holiday, I can use my debit card?
