We have just moved to Somerton just outside the local tickets area.  Do we get any preferential treatment if we apply for tickets in the general sale?  For example, does it recognise that our IP address is Somerset based?

GF ticket info advises locals wanting general admission tickets to attempt to get them in to general sale first to maximise chances. Suggests therefore that demand exceeds availability for the locals' general admission ticket sale which will be held later.

Demand for local tickets definitely exceeds availability...which is why any suggestion on these boards of non-locals using a local address on their registration to get in on the act is generally met with vitriol.

@Desperatefortickets....you may be in catchment for a Sunday only ticket in Somerton if you don't get lucky in the main sale.
