I rang Nationwide about payments this weekend (fingers crossed) and whilst they can't flag up future sales, it's more about the vendor than the amount. I let someone use my card for yesterday for 3 tickets, the sale went through and I didn't get any security code to use. So, it's either not invoked at all, or by the amount, or Seetickets as the vendor, or that I'd used this account for 2 previous sales. I'd been blocked on paying for gift cards last month, so I reckon it's about spending money with new unknown vendors.
