He did not.  I had a friend who was gong through chemo at the time (sadly he didn't come through) so I asked the Trumpmeister if he had any suggestions for someone dealing with hair loss

I haven't tried to get into the US since then, but I'm sure he's not the kind of thin skinned weapon to keep some kind of watchlist at the border for people who've been mean to him...

Glass Animals just announced a gig in Oxford. If they’re on the road next year I’d expect them to appear. They were fun on the other stage in 17.

The Flaming Lips are at bearded theory spring gathering at the end of may along with a few other glasto possibles such as the leylines and from this years Avalon stage, the bar steward sons of Val Doonican.   I missed  the lips last time out and went to Radiohead instead. Would love to see them back

I think it was James Dean Bradfield who said it and I dunno It just feels different to me. He’s a musician who’s had a reasonable amount of success and I’m just a normal average Joe. I just don’t see why bringing a fella up who died 50 years ago makes any sort of sense and there is any real point to it. It seems to me like it’s said just to try and be bit controversial. I didn’t think there was any need for it to be said to be honest, like you said he died a long time ago. What’s the point of bringing him up?

I only think the Lips will be there if they're really jonesing to play and willing take a lower slot somewhere. Can't see them being given a headline slot on Park/Peel so soon after last time. They'd have to take a slot subbing the Other or 3rd down on the Pyramid I reckon, and not sure they'd go for that personally. 

Fingers crossed though init. They could be in that mix of festival faves who are coming back, like the chap who mentioned EWF posted.

I don’t know the exact circumstances behind his comments but the chances are it was in answer to some sort of “who do you like/don’t like?” question.
